Meet your Photographer

Welcome! My name is Lauren Carroll and I am so excited to get to you know you and the people in your life who mean the most to you. I am home-grown right here in Southwestern Ohio, where I live with my husband, our son & daughter, 2 giant dogs, 1 pampered cat, and a whole herd of chickens. And today, I'm proud to serve the same small town we both grew up & went to high school in.

Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I got my first camera in middle school and by high school I was on the Yearbook staff, capturing every event I could get myself to. As an adult I spent 8 years living in Indianapolis, IN during which I trained under several of the most sought after Wedding Photographers of that time, before eventually stepping out to create my own brand and business. I shot my first wedding at 19 and instantly fell in love with everything about it. A storyteller at heart, I found that I had a deep passion for capturing the special moments in peoples lives and telling THEIR stories through my images. I love using my photography to preserve beauty, emotion, and memories all in a single click.

After moving back home to Ohio in 2014 my professional Photography became part-time for a while my babies were little, but it didn't stop me from always having a camera in my hand. Then, a few years down the road I felt a call from God to step up and become the event photographer for our church, and the flame was reignited to ramp things back up. Through this, Far More Photography was born, and I am living my true calling once again. I also get the joy of having my, now teenage, daughter sharing in my passion and joining me in a lot of my bigger sessions as she learns the art of photography for herself.
